Confirmation

Confirmation is the anointing with sacred chrism by the bishop or priest, which signifies the gift of the Holy Spirit. This Sacrament gives us special divine strength to share and “defend our faith by word and action as true witnesses of Christ” and never to be ashamed of His Cross. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1285)

Teens must be registered for Confirmation classes. The registration form is available as a pdf online. Instruction begins in the Fall for weekly classes. Confirmation preparation is a two-year program and involves both teens and their parents.

• Youth Group – This is a group which meets informally at various times. There is no active youth group throughout the year. Those preparing for World Youth Day generally participate. Please contact the pastor for information.
